MARINA SUGGESTIONS
SAFELY AND COURTEOUSLY OPERATING AROUND OTHERS
- Your trash goes in dumpsters at the dock, not in the lake and not in the parking lot and certainly not on the side of the road when you leave.
- Carts are provided for everyone's benefit. PLEASE, return the carts.
- When you're tied to the public dock, space your boat or jet ski so another boat can get in. Don't park in the middle of a space that two boats can occupy.
- Turn your music down after dark. Not everyone likes the same music.
- If the signs on the ramp say, "no parking", that means you don't park there.
- If the sign says, "no unhitched trailer parking" that means you can't park an unhitched trailer in that area.
- Every marina has a No Wake designated area. In some cases it is the entire lake area around the marina. Remember, Idle Speed is the speed at which your boat travels when it is just put in forward gear, the slowest speed that your boat is capable of. Remember, you are responsible for your wake.
- If your trailer and tow vehicle won't fit in a spot, find somewhere else to park it.
