Just pulled up the 10 day Weather Forcast for Lake Cumberland.
Yea... I know... extended forcasts.... :cool:

But from now thru the 4th... Not bad. Not bad at all.

Be prepared for the weekend warriors :P

Stay hydrated and put some sun screen on!

Yeah, Quickie is right, we could use the rain. Grass and lawns all over are looking pretty grim.

If we don't get some rain soon (and it looks like we won't) there are going to be some issues with fireworks.

That said, I hope we can keep it dry July 6-9 - that is houseboat rental weekend for us!

I'm really concerned about fireworks because of the red flag warnings, high temps, low humidity, etc. Today I checked the weather at my cabin and it was 105 down there on the Big South Fork, and 19% humidity. One of our neighbors has a fish fry/ fireworks planned for the 7th, and I'm hoping it rains before then, or they come to their senses. I'd sure hate to lose my cabin and surrounding forest because someone HAD to have fireworks. Everyone stay safe and please think before you set those fireworks off! ]
