Fireworks @ White Oak

This has probably already been brought up and I missed it, but are the folks that live on the ridge beside White Oak going to have their fireworks display this year? If so, does anybody know which night? We had a great time watching it from the water last summer.

And more important Reedaville are you putting up a display and if so what night? I enjoy your show the best cause it's close to home port and not so many boats to deal with after it's over. Thanks.

At this point the celebration is leaning toward the 7th, but stay tuned! Seems like the number of boats viewing from the water is growing each year. Last year it seemed there was an impressive number of boats watching from below:)

Where is Reedaville's fireworks?

Across from Conley and slightly east--just look for Old Glory waving proudly.

The fireworks may not happen to the recently dry weather, but we won't be making a decision till that saturday.

Definitely a BIG forum welcome to ya Jibby89! We're glad to have ya on board with us.

Ditto on the thanks for the update.
I imagine there will be several cancellations if we don't get some serious rain soon.

Please keep us updated and thanks again.

Fireworks are planned for the Saturday the 7th across the lake from Conley atop the hill where Old Glory is prominent. This display has grown in popularity over the years so there is some interest to not disappoint

This could change due to the extremely dry conditions and of course any official bans that may be put in place by authorities.

Sorry I cannot be more precise at the moment.

I apologize that I have been away from the forum for a bit as I believed it to be "in-transition" and thus off-line. For some reason I cannot access LC.com with Internet Explorer but can with GChrome as I just discovered.

I will provide an update later in the week.
Cheers!

Hey Reedaville, we'll be below ol' glory in anticipation. Hope you can pull it off again. If not, there will be lots of women and orphans severly disappointed, but no pressure. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Thanks, Phil

Hey Additiction you guys on the south shore provide a pretty good show yourselves! The folks that won (and win) are those on their boats seeing the best of both sides! It's great to see all of the boats on the water at the "show". We should double the admission price--oh wait it's free! Technically then I guess we could still double it:P

People keep mentioning the location across from Conley. If I'm not mistaken it's called Rankin Knob
