E, if you don't get there at dawn it won't matter where it's anchored because you won't get close to it.

Ohhhh one thing about this great event I might have forgot to mention......
IT'S
FREE!
Great music, on the lake, lots of boats, lots of friends and family and its FREE!
Their low price guarantee...they promise to match any competing raft up ads for lower prices plus 10%. Now you can't beat that at Wal-fart.
I hope to see ya there!

Just a reminder,
Tune your boat radios to 89.1FM while at the raft up for the broadcast of the band as well as "Family friendly Lake" music before the band starts.
T-shirts will also be for sale on the party barge before and during the show(s).

And that's a very important reminder DJ. THANK YOU!
Its kinda hard to hear the band from some of the back rows and those houseboats that can't tie up close. This is a good way to hear some good music!
Ohh and thank you, all the volunteers, and all the marinas for doing this again. Its a great event.

FOLKS WE NEED TO SELL SOME T-SHIRTS!
At $15.00 a pop these things become collectors items and sell out quickly. (Remember the 1st year?) Most folks have all 3 years.
This money all goes to the Lake Cumberland Association and is their only means of support through the year.
THIS IS THE GROUP THAT HOST THIS GREAT EVENT EVERY YEAR AND PROVIDES THE FREE ENTERTAINMENT!
This is a great way to show your support and help them continue to put on this great lake event every year.
COME ON! Its not that much and I see people wearing this shirts every weekend year round.
The T-shirts are currently available at all the marinas and like DJ said there will be a barge selling them at the event this weekend too, BUT please
buy one of these Tees now so we can have this event in the future.
GO to your favorite marina and get one NOW!
PS: I hate to say I told you so again but I told folks the first year these would sell out fast and they did. Lot of people were disappointed they
couldn't get one. Don't say I didn't warn ya!

2. They travel at 133,000 mph.
3. Temps reach 3,000 degrees F.
4. Travel 60 miles above the earth.
5. 60-100 miles apart.
6. Sizes range from a grain of sand to marble size.
7. Swift-Tuttle last seen in 1992, First seen 69 B.C.-188 A.D.
8. Next viewing in 2126.

This is one GREAT Meteor Shower! Especially for those out on the lake this coming weekend with no extra "city" lights to get in the way of the meteor
shower! It should be spectacular. Enjoy the second great FREE show of the weekend!

WELL I'm bringing this to the top again because I was told its very important to get the message out!
I'll say it again...the T-shirt sales are how all of this is paid for. This is the only fund raiser the Lake Cumberland Association has and its how
they pay all the bills to make this event FREE to everyone.
Stop by any of the marinas and they will have them or volunteers will be selling them during the raft up.
But please... just buy ONE if you can and let's help this great event keep going. Thanks!

On second thought, it would be impossible to get everyone together. I know we have about 6 boats meeting to run up there together. Gonna try to get
close to the stage but with all the talk about anchor lines being cut, I will be happy to just get a safe spot.

I personally cruised all around the area twice this weekend and there were NO WOOD CHIPS anywhere.
In fact, I think the chipper has taken the hint and now deposits the chips on the shore line in huge piles for later burning. They are cleaning
up the area known as "Daytona Beach", Cumberland Ridge point and the whole area across from Shinbone which is where the Raft Up is held.

morning?
