Kudos to Jamestown Marina staff!

A big "Thanks" to the staff at Jamestown Marina! We thought they did a tremendous job throughout the weekend with the number of people that were on the docks and at the lodge and cabins. Land shuttles and water taxis were fairly prompt, considering the number of calls coming over the radio! Never had to wait more than 5 minutes, which was pretty impressive with the crowds that were there over the weekend. Great food and service at the restaurant, and a fantastic customer barbeque on Saturday at the Yacht Club! ;) Thanks again, guys...great job!

Nice post water boy! Always good to hear compliments rather than complaints.

It could just be me, but I noticed a marked improvement at JRM lately. I ate there a few weekends ago and the food and service were excellent. I wandered around to the fuel pier and noticed several dock hands there providing good help and service. The restrooms at the marina were very clean. The ships store was well stocked and priced fairly.
Maybe just things I hadn't noticed before but I definitely think they are trying very hard. ;)

Just want to echo the Kudos to JRM. LOVE the land and water taxis. Sure makes it a non issue when parking up on the hill and really, you never even have to climb stairs if you take the land taxi from your car to the water taxi at the ramp. ;) (LOVE THAT SETUP on a Lazy stay)

Used the fuel piers when I was down Memorial Day weekend as well as last weekend always someone with a smiling face ready to help me tie off and take care of me with fill ups, pump outs etc.

As for the restaurant the server on my receipt shows Jones and if she was the actual server she was the one we had each time we came in over the weekend and she was GREAT.

We had breakfast there 2 weeks ago, it was great and the service matched. We had 2 very young kids with us and they went out of their way to make it great for them as well..

Just wanted to give some credit where credit is due...Have eaten at the Mariner's Cafe for years and it is back up to its standards once again. The food bar was excellent, kudos to the blonde lady who was very attentive and was working hard to keep it filled, never idle, all with a pretty smile on such a hot day! The kitchen order was prompt and the hostess was very attentive and made us feel at home. Friendly cashier, such a nice atmosphere. Just the service we have always expected from the folks at Jamestown Marina, so glad to see it return. Keep up the good work!
