Bar Stools for top of houseboat

I am wondering where to get bar stools for the top of our houseboat. We have been looking around, and unable to find any that will match what we have. I am not really wanting brown, which seems to be the popular color. I want sling back & swivel, and have seen them on many houseboats, just not sure where to get them.

Thanks in advance.

These guys have the good stuff (read that as expensive), Casual Living and Patio Center in Lexington.
http://www.casuallivingpatio.com/patio_furniture.html

You can sometimes catch black bar stools at "Garden Ridge" but they are not always made for outdoors but 1/4 the price of the real expensive stuff. Use them 3-4 years and toss em.

Like Nearly said "spray paint" will help you get over a lot.

You "might" find Stardust and/or Throughbred Houseboats willing to order you a set of the good stuff. I know they order them for their new customers sometimes.

Good luck...this is another area that blows my mind when it comes to price increases in the last 5-10 years. :o

What about frongate? They have an outlet in Cincy, i am not sure if they list the outlet stuff online but they have a really nice selection of outdoor/pool related items.

Outdoor furniture.... "you get what you pay for". What we went overboard on ten years ago still looks fine. The set on the back deck came from our old boat. 1995! Homecrest, and Winston. Cant plug for them enough. Good luck... We've been looking for a small bistro set for the back. If I wanted brown, I'd get teak....;).

btw.. I think winston is oob, or got bought by someone else...

Bed Bath and Beyond has some nice wrought iron ones with tan upholstery.

Whatever you get, I would look for all welded and good foot inserts. Durable slides that are secure and won't pop out so the metal scratches your gelcoat...All welded because some of the cheaper brands use "steel" fasteners which rust and stain your deck. Heavy construction to help reduce blowing overboard. Light, and cheap may not always be the best answer in these applications.

Wrought iron furniture will rust very quickly and leave some nasty stains:(

Aluminum may not be as durable as steel but it's a heck of a lot lighter when you have to clean the deck or when (groan) guests drag them across the deck. And, of course, aluminum won't rust.

It's always a good idea to cover topside furniture (if you can-to avoid spider and bird droppings) and an even better idea to lash it down (or at least together) when you are away. You never know when a windstorm will pop up (this morning's storm is an example).
