Eagle on Wolf Creek
Aquabrit and I were cruising the hood this afternoon when we drove down Dudley ridge to campers point on Wolf creek. We were there for about 20 min.
or so when we spotted a Eagle.
Anyone else had the opportunity to see this beautiful bird ?

Since last fall, I've seen eagles in Difficulty Creek, Caney Creek, and also just below Waitsboro Landing. Don't know if this is the same eagle or
there are several using the area. They are beautiiful.

I have a slip at GHM in Middle Fork Creek. Last year we were standing on the dock on a beautifully sunny Saturday afternoon when we heard the eagle
cry. As we turned in the direction we were treated to an eagle diving into the water and coming out with a fish. It was spectacular to watch!!

My wife and I were on a little Sea Doo cruise one day last year up Pitman Creek. As we came around a sharp curve there was an eagle that was just
grabbing a fish out of the water not 50ft. in front of us. It pulled its fish out and flew maybe three feet directly over our heads!!!! You don't
realize how massive and impressive those birds are till you see them THAT close!!! We stopped and watched him fly into a tree top and enjoy his
dinner. That is still one of our fondest memories of the lake even after all these years coming here.

Thats some great news guys nice to know we have what seems to be a healthy population at the lake.
To be able to see one up as close as you guys have experienced is a real treat for sure!

Our campsite overlooks Middle Fork as well and we have seen and heard Eagles and Eaglets every year we have been at this site. Love it!!

They have a nest across from campers point. I think this is the fourth year they have used this nest.

Just any specific location of the nest site would be appreciated. I thought it would be nice to keep an eye on things when I was in the hood
