Just wanted to add a big THANKS to all who provided reports and updates! It is much appreciated. We had folks all the way from FL to Michigan checking
this forum for the condition of their homes and property. This forum is still one of the best sources for news of the lake and area.
And, of course, a big thanks to our forum weatherman Squakmiester. This thread was started by him on Thursday with a warning things
could get bad on Friday, and it did. Thank you sir!

It is scary. I found some pages from a Fredericksburg, Indiana phone directory laying in the street in a north Cincinnati suburb...some 80 miles
distant. It kinda spooks me because I know that phone book was safely tucked away in the drawer of someone's home...less than an hour prior to my
finding it. I hope they're OK whoever they are.

It's been reported the little girl found in the field has passed away. How tragic to lose an entire family. May they rest in peace together.

A HUGE shoutout of thanks to Pogo who was kind enough to drive past our place during the first round of storms. Then as Friday's storms were brewing,
she updated me via text messages regarding the storms and what was happening in Russell County!! We decided to make the 4+ hour drive to the cabin
just in case and we enjoyed the sunshine on Saturday and Sunday morning. This website and the wonderful folks who post here are a blessing. Keep up
