Lake pics

A friend of mine took advantage of the clear day and snapped a few, high-altitude photos.

Yeah, up about 50kb I'd say!

I can change dimensions but can't get the 50kb to ever work out. Tried several different programs.

Stone Grove send em to me and I'll experiment with em.
waterwings007@yahoo.com

A lot of picture posting I have found is trial and error. If it doesn't work the first time keep reducing the size and eventually it either gets too small to see or the system will you let you post it.

Someone said there is a "web page size" that is perfect. 640x480 and less than 50kb but I have never found it in my picture sizing tools.

Stone Groove sure hope yours are better than mine!
I took these with a cell phone on a very dark, cloudy, cold, nasty day while also trying to fly the airplane at the same time.

I also found that "web page size" and trying it here for the first time!
These pictures were originally 1600x1200 pixels.

Yep, that is Lake Cumberland from 8,000' on day not even fit for ducks.

WELL that didn't work! :mad::mad::mad:

Trying again...just made it 397x298 pixels. $%#@

I'm just wetting your appetite for Stone groove's pictures I hope.
These are just bad and you can't tell a darn thing about em.
That's why I've never posted them before.

I think that's the dam at the lower portion with Indian Creek at the top. But who knows.

I sent two to Waterwings today. Yes, they are pixeled as big as a house and I couldn't seem to re-size them.

Got em Stone grove and they are a heck of a lot better than the ones I posted. :D

Here's the first try. Hoping I don't have to resize again.

CRAP! ^%$#

Trying again!

Definitely better when viewed larger! Thanks Stone groove.
Nice shots of Conley and that's why you posted them on the Conley thread.

Thanks again to Stone groove for the nice aerial shots.

Thanks for the blow up shots Squak.

Question: What are you doing to get those pictures to work.
I tried the "web page medium 640 x 480"... nope!
Then I tried the "web page small 448 x 336 ...nope!

Its only when I take the picture pixel size to anything less than 400 on a side will it work. The ones I posted above are 399 x 299. Only thing that works for me.

I think I got these resized. They are of the west end, from Conley Bottom to the dam.

I'm just glad to see that no one was stuck in Harmon creek this winter. At least that's the way the one picture looks if you look real close. :P:P
