Vacuflush head

I'm looking at a couple of bow riders that have vacuflush heads. I'm not really interested in having a holding tank on the boat that I have to have sucked out (or suck it out myself with a shop vac). Is there any way to convert the system so that the holding tank can be removed and disposed of in the same fashion as a porta potty?

I don't believe so. The holding tank is part of the system. Actually, if you use the pumpouts at the marinas this is not a bad job.

Pump out is like 10 buck. Shop vac? Really?

Well, obviously the shop vac comment was a joke. The point of the post was whether I could convert the holding tank to a portable tank. It would be used pretty much only by my 6 yr old when we are out in cooler weather. There would likely not be enough use to warrant a pumpout of a full tank even after a full year. I don't want to leave the tank all year and get it pumped out at winterization. Just wouldn't want to put up with the potential funk. So, that's why I'd like to be able to take it out at the end of the day if it gets used.

The other alternative, of course, is to pull the head out and replace it with a regular porta potty. I'd just have to cap off the drain.
