Sent them an email the other day to the general email address at info@conleybottom.com but obviously no response.

I'll send one tomorrow to Fred this time. I'm also going to request they publish a channel guide or something for all the new TV channels we get. About 50 channels now and all clear as a bell. I'm lovin that.

I'm wondering how the guard shack thingy is going to work. Is it going to be manned 24/7 or are we going to get a pin number to key in on a keypad. Great idea and I'm personally glad to see it but just wondering how they're going to impliment it.

Yep, worked the whole time, Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun! Wind blowing 35-45mph and everything. I'm paying 120.00 at home for cable tv and internet service...at the lake I get better cable tv plus great internet service and its all included in the slip fees.
I'm running out of reasons to own a home! ;)

Don't worry you won't! Don't own a lawn mower, weed wacker, or any yard maintence impliments.
I'm trying to get the neighborhood association to do the snow shoveling thingy too. With this kind of winter I've got em thinking about it anyway. ;)

Must be nice. Ours were up the usual few hundred.:( If anyone had decent covered houseboat slips, I would consider moving. I am getting too old for the ongoing shenanigans as well.

There is going to be a new check point/guard shack with an automatic barricade arm thingy that goes up and down as you go to the pay camp ground/marina part.

Hope they can put a key pad or something there. I don't think it would be smart to hire someone to stay there all the time.
Sorry I don't have an actual picture of the shack. I will try to get one next time I'm there.
Its about 500' to the right of this sign as you go out of the marina.

J, I don't know any other marinas that have covered hb slips except Jamestown and LeesFord and their rate is near what you're now paying.

Ok WW, here's what I found out from Sheila:

"The web cams should be back and running before long. We had a new server installed and the company that has done that for us is in the process of getting everything up and running. Hopefully this will not take much longer. Yes we are very pleased with our new cable service. All seems to be working great. The new company that we are working with on the cable service is going to provide a channel listing for everyone. Once we receive those we will be sending it in a email and also a hard copy will be at the ship’s store to be picked up at your convenience. Thank you all so much for being loyal customers of ours and we look forward to serving you in the future."
