Enabling Wireless on a Windows 7 desktop
Pulling my hair out, my desktop tried to load updates from Microsoft yesterday and I lost ability to access a wireless connection. It appears to just
be gone.....all error messages say that I must enable the wireless connection. Have tried finding it in devices, under networks, etc. but no where do
I see a place to turn it back on. There are some really tech savvy folks on here, any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

First, many newer PCs now have a hard switch somewhere to turn the wireless radio on/off. Dells I believe are near the power switch, Lenovo's on the
front left side, etc. Maybe you accidently hit the switch off.
If that's not it, usually in the tray at the bottom you will see the wireless connections icon. Open that up and you should see an option to turn on
(or sometimes enable) the radio. If it's not in the tray then you should find it under 'network connections' in the control panel. You'll see
something like 'wireless network connections' and in there should be an 'enable' button.
