my wife uses kroger bread dough, she flattens it out and puts pepproni cheese ham etc. on it. She rolls it up and bakes it and wow. It must be eaten with beer.

Something else to worry about transferring color. GROCERY BAGS. The print from one transferred on to our white boat seat. Nothing would take it off completely.

Well, if bryantman is nice enough to bring us some, we eat cold Kewpee burgers from Lima, Ohio!! If not, nothing beats a nice lunchmeat sandwich, some chips, cold pasta salad, and maybe some brownies!!!

All washed down with a nice cold PBR!!! ........ or two.... or three.... you get the picture.

Yes, we learned the hardway also about the printed plastic grocery bags. I turn them inside out now. I can't remember what cleaner we sued to get the blue off of our white seats. I think either simple green or whitleys cleaner for seats?

Ditto on the printed plastic bags. I bought a new white throw cushion and put it on the seat without taking it out of the plastic bag. Thought I could keep it cleaner longer. The print just transfered to my vinyl boat seat. I've tried Magic Erasures and everything. Nothing brings it up. :(

Some good eats on here. I really like the "pickel dawg and tabasco sauce". :D
Which brings up another question...bathroom breaks! :o

Post from wolfcreekray that got mis-directed. :D

Lunch on the lake

The wife makes ham salad from scratch, its easy to keep in a tupper ware or similar container. Tastes great between a couple slices of dark rye or other speciality bread. Some chips and salsa,(home made is best!) Some fresh melon and fruit from Peach City on 461. Wash it all down with your favorite adult beveridge....I'm jonesin' for a lake lunch!

About stains on the vinyl...I have used Westlys' Bleche White on some tougher stains, but be careful, use it in moderation and rinse it thoroughly.... it will go after your threaded seams. Don't ask me how I know this!

Sounds yummy to me. Yeah stains on vinyl are a tuff one. Got some mold on mine too that won't come off. WW

YUMMY!! LOVE THIS TOPIC!! LOL! Something I like to take to the lake with me is hamburgers...I know... I know... we all take them... BUT... you guys HAVE to try this marinade... Its called KC Masterpiece Steakhouse Marinade. Its is excellent on Burgers, Chicken, Steak, Chops... You get my drift. I usually put my burgers in a sealed tight container or a good zip lock baggie....pour the marinade into the container...When ready to eat throw the burgers on the grill. The smell will drive you insane!!

When going to the lake, I always take Chicken Salad, Ham Salad, Tuna Salad, Pimento Cheese spread, fruit, pretzels, veggies, and chips for snacks. Also, instead of using crackers for my "salads" I use sliced cucumbers or celery... and crackers if prefered. Also, Salami and Dill Pickle Rolls. You take cream cheese, spread it on your salami, place a pickle spear on top of the cream cheese, and wrap the salami around it. A toothpick will hold it together nicely... But these are a bit hit with friends and family so I usually use a kabob to hold the salmi together and I usually put several on a kabob. We all know it gets hot sometimes out on the lake so I like to take items that are refreshing.

Also, if equipped to do so... I will make Raymon (spelling) noodles ahead of time and reheat them on the grill with our Cast iron skillets. Also, baked beans, Corn nibblets in butter sauce, Corn on the cob.... YUMMY!!

Ok I'm famished now!! Please keep posting ideas... I'm always looking for different things to take to the lake!!

But I do have to say... there's something about a bologna sammich, and lays chips on the boat... I can eat the same sammich and chips at home... and it doesn't quite taste the same. Same for a cold beer.... It always taste better on the boat!!! :)
