FYI - INFORMATION CONCERNING A SPAMMER
In the past few months, LC.com has been visited by a spammer selling Wedding Dresses.
He has used the following Usernames and locations:
hualuzxc - Beijing
maohfdui - Netherlands
wangjiwei - Beijing
He usually posts between 1AM and 3 AM in the morning and he provides a link to his
Wedding Dress Website using the words "muslin dress".
NO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK --> "muslin dress"
Doing so will probably activate your anti-virus software and it is not worth the risk.
If you see a post where the words "muslin dress" appear - Please click on the REPORT
Button and the Mods will safely dispose of the post and the Infected Link.

ADDED NOTE:
Actually, the word is Muslim, but from now on, whenever he types the words Musli_ Dress, it will appear as WARNING.

I have had a LOT of spammers kick up in the past month or so as well. I have my site security cranked up but still have some getting thur as I see
you are as well.

Tom, probally should not talk about that here. Send me one of the e-mails. The only time my site sends anything out is when someone replies to
something you have subscribed to or when you get a private message. U2U me for more info. My guess is something is getting spoofed.

Tom, I understand from E that the problem you just mentioned extends to a lot of members on that site. He is working to correct it.
Folks, you have to give these Mods (on all forums) a lot of credit. They have to deal with this type of stuff 24/7. Most of the time, they fix it in
a way that the majority of users never knew it happened. Thanks, guys..

Thanks Squak, Sorry for the clutter. 
I don't know if it was a hack or if my ban list (from spammers) is soooo long that maybe yahoo (yahoo web hosting is junk) just can't process the list
quick enough and the forum software defaults to the secure side)....
Hopefully jpatton will help me get to get to bluehost sometime soon. Now I know what it was like for Cranky and Captain Bob all those times I
pestered them that LC.com was down in the past and wanted to know when it would be back up as I was having withdrawls.

Seems like it would be more appropriate to cut their hands off (like they do in other societies). Otherwise, they would just go to their backup
hardware and continue being internet terrorists.
I realize that may sound severe but, if you have ever been an admin or a mod on a forum, you would understand..

Just got a call back from Yahoo Web Hosting. Apparently this was caused by an issue with THEIR web servers. They were passing the yahoo IPs instead of
the user IPs and thus it caused the forum software to give that IP banned message even though it was not an issue with PHPBB the forum runs on...
I hope to be moved to bluehost VERY soon. For anyone looking for web hosting (STEER CLEAR OF YAHOO!).
