Power Outage At HBM

In case you're not on the e-mail list... HBM just sent out the following message:

From: Holly Bay Marina [mailto:hollybaymarina@yahoo.com]
Sent: Tuesday, March 08, 2011 2:29 PM
Subject: Dock repair and electricity outage!

Holly Bay Houseboat Residents, we will begin repairing the dock at the connection of 1st Street and Main Street of the houseboat dock, on Monday, March 14th, 2011! The electric to all houseboats straight out the dock and to the left toward boardwalk will be OFF beginning Monday, March 14th through March 19th. There is a possibility it will be on sooner, but we want to give you worst case scenario. The only boats that will have power are boats on the Boardwalk! If you have any questions feel free to give us a call! HBM! Please let everyone know in case we do not have someones email!

This is the response to your posting about using the chain to haul away HBM.
After the long over due repairs maybe we can retire the chain.

You are pathetic. If the award means so much to you just go ahead and award yourself another:P:P

Lucky, hopefully they keep the chain for next breakage at the marina. This is not a repairable problem.:(

I am sure the structural engineers have calculated a permanent repair to this problematic area.
Me, I woud look at all the previous solutions and do something DIFFERENT.

One week is going to be optomistic length of repair unless outside sources are involved.

No offense to the people who work at the marina but nowhere on their application did they include the words "structural engineers".:P

I need to rephrase my previous post. It is repairable but not fixable. The design of the marina sees to that:( I'm shooting for Easter as a completion date.

More than a week? ... my inverter won't make it that long.

Oh well, the fridge still stinks from the last power outage. :(

One out of two is not bad. You are getting closer all the time to switching.

I can guess what chicken livers would smell like but what part of the chicken does a lever come from??:P:P

Are you sure I haven't seen you drink Keystone? I may have evidence, but that would require me posting a pic which is a whole other story

Another Round... my boss has informed me that the only thing at risk in my fridge is condiments and my beverages.

So, it looks like your levers will have to fend for themselves.;)
