Weekday mornings the new road is consistantly shaving 4 to 6 min. off the trip downtown. At least we can get some use out of these tax dollars.:D

Going to make the trip to Grider a little shorter :)

When you learn from the mistakes of others, that's wisdom.
When you fail to learn from any mistakes, that's government.

Is nice....

If you are traveling from Monticello to Cincy etc....it's a straight shot from the last light in Monticello to the 914 bypass. (al least for now, till they get pressure to put a light or two on the new 1247)
I have noticed....a little quicker going from Burnside to 914 than vice versa....That light at 914 turning left to the new 1247 is slow.....but it's much better than waiting on the lights on 27!

What could hold this up? I thought they had acquired all the land necessary. If I was a gambling type, I would bet it is some far-out environmental study that affects a flower only found in south-central KY that must be maintianed at all cost.

Does anyone know how much time this will actually save? My place is by fall creek so it will impact me. I have been watching the progress of the road since it started. Not really sure how much time it will actually save though.
