Winners Marine

Anyone have any experience using them for boat consignment? Looks like they only charge $150 to sale your boat, which is extremely cheap. Most dealers want 10-15%.

Probably going to call them tomorrow to see if the old saying "if it's too good to be true".... holds here.

Any experiences w/ them?

Thanks

No experience but I have seen one of my neighbor's boats there. They evidently have a good number of late model boats for sale. In this sagging economy, that kind of commission is fantastic! I think boat sales will stay relatively flat with bargain hunters creating most of the activity through the winter. Hopefully, the prospects will improve as spring comes on.

I'm wanting to purchase a boat thru them sooner or later. The sales person, Mike Listerman (I believe) was very helpful. He has followed up with me a couple times to see if I've made my purchase and/or to tell me about new boats coming in. They seem pretty good to me. I haven't heard anything bad about them.

Where is Winner's Marine?

I pass a boat facility in Bronston (forgot the name) on the way to Conley and they have a bunch of used boats in the indoor showroom and more out in the lot. Was wondering if it is the same place.

It's on the right just after you go over the bridge. Used to be a muffler/used car lot. Was asking about it the other day and I think someone that used to be involved with Lake Cumberland Marine is involved with it in some capacity.

Thanks rod, I have noticed that place and they seem to have a lot of pontoons and some other nice boats. Hope they do well. $150.00 to sell your boat is a bargain!

The place I was thinking about is further down the road and before you get to the car wash in Bronston.

The other place is All Boats Service. They have my Crownie 248 CCR. If interested in a cuddy, take a look.

Your right SupremeJudge! Thanks!
They sure have some nice "eye candy" setting right in the front window. Wish I was in the market but got too much coming down the pike to even be thinking about a new runabout. :(

Called and talked to a gentleman there today, great guy and very up front and hoenst. We're selling our Crown and possibly the Nitro. He said the Nitro probably would sale fast as they are getting a lot of traffic on bass boats, min. traffic for run abouts and cuddies, which makes sense this time of year.

If we decide to go through w/ selling, we;ll probably give them a chance. They wipe it down once a week, will tarp and untarp it, daily, etc.

Think they've got a niche...

One of our campers purchased a new pontoon from Winners this summer. We dont get into their business about what kind of deal they got,,,,BUT

their service has been fantastic.

Winners not only answered their phone on a Sunday on a holiday weekend, but had a mechanic on duty and told them to bring their boat in and they would either get it fixed right away or they would let them use a loaner pontoon for the rest of the weekend.. I dont think that type of service can be beat.
