This is awesome news for those of us on the 'other' lake who've been patiently waiting for your release. Thanks again for the peace of mind this will provide.
We'll start recruiting as well. :)

Here is a pic of one of the two tow boats we will be using for assistance calls on Dale Hollow.

It is a 25' Wellcraft powered by a pair of 130 Yamahas. It is fully rigged and equipped for all types of towing and assistance operations. It also makes a very good salvage work platform to carry air bags, pumps and such, when needed.

The other boat is a 22 Sea Sled powered by a 200 Johnson Ocean Pro. It is a center console with a cat type hull. Again, fully equipped.

Both will be in the lake and ready for use by August 10th, 2009. Look for us, stop and say hello.

Well, Marine Assist towed our first boat on Dale Hollow on Saturday. Some folks were broken down on a fish and ski boat and were trying to get back on a trolling motor. There was a stiff breeze and 6 people on the boat. They would not have gotten too far.

I was out with Captain Bobby running the boat a little and getting a feel for the lake myself when we came across them. We hooked up and brought them back to Hendricks Creek.

Captain Bobby has been a fishing guide on Dale Hollow for over 20 years.

We decided to keep a towboat at Hendricks Creek Marina and the second at Sunset Marina.

I really like Dale Hollow Lake. It is a beautiful place and there are not 72 steps to go down to get to the boat! I also like all the islands around. Very pretty lake.

MarineAssit
I'm confident your 'save' over the weekend will help get interest running amoung the folks on Dale Hollow. In our opinion, your coverage is very reasonable & a huge comfort level to your subscribers in the event we ever need your services.
Thank you again!

Did I see 3 boats being pulled out at once on Saturday, were they "soft grounded"?

There were a lot of boats competing for space in Big Eagle Creek
