Spring is here

Where is everyone at Burnside? I'm new to this site. Are you cleaning your boats for Spring? What's happening at the Marina? Just looking to talk to some lake people, while I am not there.

Big welcome to the forum there raycat.
I'm not from Burnside but trying answer your questions. I guess everyone is staying home and hoping the rain doesn't do anymore damage and the sun comes out a little for a change. Lot of debris out there now.
You even had a houseboat come lose (from Omega Marina I assume) and float right by Burnside then went all most to White Oak Creek before being rescued by Marine Assist.

Anyway you probably know about the web cam but thought I would throw a picture in to show you the waters a little murky. You can't see it but there's is a lot of trash past the wake break there.

Holy cow! Somebody actually wrote on the Burnside page. Raycat, Dick and Laine did a lot of landscaping along the ramp and it looks great. They also poured gravel on the area left dry from the low lake so cars can park closer to the dock. As for debris, I cruised my old Gibson from Burnside to Jamestown last weekend and it wasn't bad.
