Burnside Marina live web cam coming soon
Just a note that we set up the new webcam on Friday, but due to a positioning issue it's not yet live. Shouldn't be too long, however, watch for it.

I think the video goes by wire to the marina store where it is decoded and sent by the telegraph operator. From there the Morse-Code goes to
Cumberline's MC2MPGC (Morse Code 2 MPEG Converter) and is translated back into a video stream?
Sign me up to crank it once each day.
God I love Burnside! It may be old and full of logs but the people are the best. No better place to be.

Well, It looks like with the re-allignment of the marina, the cam will miss my boat by several yards. So let the debauchery continue....
As for the view of Big Rusty...I think thats more obcene than anything you could get a peek of over here. For those who havn't been here lately, the
bridge is lighted at night now. We won't even get a break from the ugly at night....

When the water dropped....Nothing new. Before the store was pushed toward South Fork, the cam would have shot right at me...!!!

I got ya.
Lane said that if they get a higher confirmed water level this year he may try to move the maintenance building to give some relief to the people on
that side of Dock 7. Of course I just moved slips this year and the building is no longer in my way!
I did get good at doing a 3 point turn to back my boat in last year though.

As for the wind? Get a space that is about 26 feet from dock to building, add a 23.5 foot long boat, 15 mph wind (in a wind tunnel) and it can be
fun!!!! I'm glad I am out of that this year.
