had only owned SeaRay's until a couple years ago we bought a 2002 Ebbtide 2300 Mystique from John Stivers at Unlimited with a 5.7 Volvo and duoprop.

We had some initial problems with impeller, trim motors and fuel pumps. All the usual maintenance type items. Since then, it's been nothing but smooth sailing (pun intended). ;)

Any boat on the water is a good one. We are blessed to have a boat and so many good friends and family to enjoy it.

Well I first owned a 1979 somerset 19 1/2 open bow with 350 4 barrel. Boat would really jump out of the water. It was a head turner and we got a lot of compliments. But with the factory 20 gallon tank it guzzled the fuel. We boat at Dale Hollow and on the main lake we really got beat up. It served as a very nice first boat. We sold it because we wanted something bigger. Our current boat is a 1992 Four Winns 220 Horizon Bowrider with a 454. This boat is just a solid boat. Weighing around 4000 pounds it rides over the waves really nice. We can haul 10 people with ease. Another nice thing is the 65 gal fuel capacity. I think these are great boats. If I own another it will be a Four Winns. By the way it is a deep boat and great if u have kids.

My first boat was a 2000 Bayliner 1800 bowrider. Good way to start out. They get a bum rap but taht boat never gave me a moment of trouble.

Sold it a few years ago and bought a 99 Rinker Captiva 232 cuddy cabin. Slighty older but in great shape and love overnighting on the lake. The Merc 350 is a nice change from the 3.0L, too. :)
