| The board administrator has requested that all new registered users must agree to the following terms before registering and using the services on the board "The Lakes Community". Please read the following terms and if you agree to them, select the "I agree" button found at the bottom of the terms. |
Welcome. We are happy to have you as a registered member of The Lakes Community forum. As a member, you have the ability to participate in the lake's largest online community, and we hope you enjoy your time together.
Be sure you enter a CORRECT, WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS when you register. The system will quickly mail you a password so that you can log in. After completing the registration process, read your email to get this automatically assigned password, then return and use it to log in. At any time, you can use your Control Panel on the forum to change your password to whatever you wish.
There are a few rules. The main one is to remain friendly with other members. Please do not post personal attacks; this will very likely lead to sanctions.
The administrator and/or moderators of the forum may decide to modify or delete posts that are contrary to our rules and purpose. Significant abuse of privileges may result in blocking the ability to participate, or even banning access to the forum.
We're trying to have a good time together, and hope you join in and enjoy the party.

1/ Be friendly and G-rated.
2/ The mentioning or linking to other lake related sites and forums is permissible,
as long as no derogatory comments are directed at those mentioned sites or any
members of those sites. Doing so will very likely lead to sanctions.
3/ Don't mention real estate companies other than Lake Cumberland Real Estate, which operates this site.
4/ Because of their potential divisiveness, discussions of religion, politics or the current war are not allowed.
5/ Derogatory comments of a public nature directed towards any Member of this Forum or the policies of this
Forum are unacceptable. Comments of this nature are best handled via U2U or email addressed to the Forum Administrators.
